Thank you for a successful inaugural SustainPHL!
SustainPHL is a celebration dedicated to increasing engagement for sustainability and uniting the sustainability community. SustainPHL was created in 2015 by Green Philly Blog and organized by a women-lead chair committee.
This engaging, spirited, and informative event helps to foster awareness of sustainability & its Philadelphia community, the city’s achievements & future vision, as well as ways to be involved.
Sustainable features of this event include onsite recycling and composting, a public-transit and bike share friendly location, awards created from reclaimed wood by Recycled Artist in Residency (RAIR). Our committee of nomination advisors including Sustainable Business Network, Fair Food, and Investors’ Circle helped qualify nominees based on both sustainability and impact.
